So, Skywars got a change in the past few days, specifically targeted at those who mine ores in normal mode. Mining got a giant nerf, and today, I'm gonna test it out to see just how nerfed it got.

I wanted to do a mini break from a normal commentary and decided to live commentate over this one, cause I gotta get better at it.

i find it crazy how you continue to defend mining pre-nerf then the first game you explain how you could get full diamond with a sharp 2 diamond sword from 2 islands, surely you see how broken that was right?

Just for the record, as a person who streams Skywars almost daily and talks to most people in the community, it was not a loud minority asking for mining to be nerfed, it was...most people. I don't have a problem with you enjoying mining but claiming that it was balanced and not over powered is very silly. As always, I look forward to a discussion!

I love seeing miners get absolutely obliterated. Go to insane mode if you want full diamond armor.
I still see people mining (although mostly just full iron with a diamond sword).
But it just makes no sense to me why players would want to go for super long games just to get 1 kill.
You aren't going to improve by trying to cheese out a victory from a broken game mechanic.
So yes, the mining nerf is a huge dub. Miners can keep coping with their lack of skill 😂
