Ohh, welcome to Mexico! I hope you enjoy your visit to our country, feel yourselves like home :D, oh, and you definitely have to eat chilaquiles for breakfast, and also there's a dish called "Chile en nogada" and "pozole" that are popular around these days for the independence celebrations. Or banana leaf tamales, idk if they sell them on cdmx but if you find them you should try it

And for dessert maybe buñuelos, capirotada, or something like that, these are the most common dishes along sopes and other things but there are a lot of options to choose, i hope that you enjoy our country and gastronomy. Be safe! :)

you should try tacos de adobada, this type of taco is meat that has been submerged in a mix of chipotle, ancho, pimenton, vinegar, garlic, salt, and oregano. it has a distinct red color

You NEED NEED NEED to try Mexican hamburgers you know you’ve found them if their selling them in carts and the Patties are extremely thin but VERY flavorful it’s always been one of my favorite things to eat there

Authentic tacos hit different. In Texas you can find them sometimes, usually hidden in tiny food trucks tucked away behind a gas station, but they are good and spicy!

I saw in an earlier video that you aren't a big fan of shaved ice, so I suggest you try a mangonada or a paleta. If you like Mango a mangonada is for you, if you like creamier treats a paleta (Mexican ice cream) is for you. There are also raspas which are delicious.

Fun! In many places, I've seen portion sizes be smaller but still very flavorful. "Jumbo-sized" food is...a nice novelty but doesn't dictate flavor.
