I finally got "The A500 mini" console in the mail and I had to unbox and test it right away.
This is a brand new Commodore Amiga 500 retro console replica from Retro Games Ltd.

When you go to 'Options => Advanced Options => Television Settings' in your A500 mini, you might see a toggle that says: 'Use screen edges'. This might fix the issue you had with the virtual keyboard and games going offscreen.

I got one of these today but it’s driving me crazy. It keeps hanging even though music is still playing. I’m going to take it back if it continues, regretting buying it already.

I got an a500, then an a600, then put a pi-storm in the a500, and then they announced the mini and I'm like, fk that - just spent too much money on Amigas. So of course I pre-ordered it. Love the little thing, it sits in my living room proudly among the other mini's, but damn it's such a nice way to play Amiga classics. Amigas can be a little bit fiddly sometimes, sometimes they can be painful, this side-steps all the messing around and we just dive into those games. Would be great if we could package up games with a cover and setup file, maybe that'll come soon.

Got mine today and there is too much lag with the control pad for any of the games to be playable. I’m going to bring it back to the shop. Very disappointed as I had pre ordered it months ago…

It is a nice machine for those that do not want to spend 1000's of kroners on Amiga500, Amiga600 and Amiga1200. Paying for all 3 machines would be a lot of money. This is just a grab and go machine. By the way. I got notification that my new grey Amiga1200 case have been shipped.

Emulation with Raspberry Pi 400 are superior. Pi 400 have better hardware, better price too and don't forget I can run all workbenchs SO versions and programs too. I can run too all Amiga models like 500, 600, 2000, 3000, 1200 and run too all adf or whdload games.

Not my kind of device - I'd rather save the money for a Mister than this gimmick. No Keyboard, no 9-pin joysticks, just another cheap ARM emulator. I think currently it doesn't even read ADF files?
