I Bought Another Car...

I wasn't really looking for a car, but when I saw this pop up on my local classifieds app, I had to go look at it... and then I couldn't leave without it. I thought I would make a quick video for my car loving subscribers. Hope you enjoy it!

Forgot to mention in the video that the hood latch is a little wonky. It's hard to get it closed properly after opening it, that's why I didn't show the engine. If you're interested though, it has a 223ci inline 6.

It is absolutely beautiful. The little guy is Mercury. You can get Historical plates for it if you keep it close to original as you restore it. Please invest the money to restore it completely as it is a piece of history. Have fun with it and I look forward to seeing more as you get it road ready.

Soooo glad you made a video on this car. Been a fan of yours awhile, had no idea your an old car guy. Old cars are my life... literally I make my living doing restoration work. Mostly rust repair and custom metal fabrication, but I everything else too. I'm actually sitting next to my 56 Mercury right now. It's in the middle of a 5 speed transmission conversion. Surprisingly you don't have as much rust as I would think with a Canadian car, so that's good. Anyways love the car and defiantly keep us posted on how it's coming.
