Backpacking Germany Vlog 4 | Black Forest Hiking, trying local German food, walking around Germany

Welcome to a day in our life in the Black Forest! In today’s life in Germany Vlog we will explore Germany with you and take you on a walking tour through some very romantic and idyllic villages and nature of my home area of the Black Forest. We will meet some very cute animals (cows, goats and deer) while hiking in the German mountains and we will try some local German foods as well and we will make sure to still eat healthy and cheap food, since we are usually eating on a budget. This vlog is as German countryside or rural Germany as it can get. When I told my American husband that we are going to Germany, I meant that we are really exploring Germany, how and where I grew up and I am more than excited to relive some nostalgic childhood memories as a married couple. Being from different countries as a couple really is a win win and travelling each partners country together, in our case traveling Germany and the USA, is so much fun and a great couple adventure and experience. Since my husband is from America, I made sure to show him the Black Forest Academy, which is a school for American students coming and living in Germany for a couple years. But now let’s get ready to see some cows grazing on lush green fields on the hills surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We are not even halfway through with our travel vlogs and day in our live vlogs from Germany so make sure to stay tuned for the next ones!

Saw the little waterfall at :07 and thought you must be in Kandern. Sure enough you showed my house a few seconds later and then my classroom at BFA! BTW the yellow half timbered house at :50 is the birthplace of John Sutter at whose mill gold was dicovered in California sparking the gold rush. He went on to become the founder of Sacramento and the first govenor of California.
