Lot 10 Hutong - Malaysia's BEST HAWKER STALLS Under One Roof!

About a decade ago, someone had the genius idea of bringing together Malaysia’s most well-known hawker stalls that have survived into the 2nd or 3rd generations under one roof in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. That idea became Lot 10 Hutong, a vast underground maze of a food court beneath the Lot 10 shopping centre, a collection of more than 30 hawker stalls handpicked from around Malaysia. The website states that the MINIMUM criteria to be accepted into Lot 10 Hutong is “A track record that dates back at least 40 years and a brand identity that is instantly recognisable”, so you know whatever makes it here is gonna be good!

Unfortunately, I only got to try a handful of the hawker stalls at Lot 10 Hutong which I’ve listed below, but one day I will be back to complete the experience!
Zhun Kee – claypot chicken rice
Soong Kee – beef noodles (soup or dry)
Penang Famous Char Kway Tiao & Prawn Mee – char kway teow with duck egg
Kong Tai – oyster omelette (oh chien)

Lot 10 Hutong can be found in the middle of Bukit Bintang, the entertainment centre of Kuala Lumpur
