how do you tell the difference between these questions and projectile questions? you’d have to use the constant for these questions but not projectiles.

Hence, if I tried to use projectiles integration method on a question involving this topic I’d get it wrong and vice versa? How would you know which approach to take?

when asked to prove by calculas that s= ut +1/2 at^2, why is that the first step is v = integrand a?
I know that it is, but i go straight off to a=v-u/t mistakes made from here.
From context of a question, states constant a, at origin, it is u velocity... yeah i am not sure how to get to that first step?
