Hi Mr Brown, I've got two scenarios I'm unclear about, I'd really appreciate your help:
1. So if you've decided that you're going to pick 9 UK born people and 21 US born people, do you give the UK people( all 45 from the population) a number from 1 to 45 and generate 9 numbers which determines who you use in the sample. And then give the 105 US-born people a number from 1 to 105 and pick (randomly)21 numbers also.

2.Or do you give the whole population(all 150 people) a number from 1 to 150 and randomly pick numbers until you have the amount of UK and US people needed for the sample- if you do it this way does it matter if you give all UK people numbers form 1 to 45 and US people from 46 to 150, or do the numbers have to be jumbled up between UK and US people.
Thank you
