Slight disagreement on the band comparison - Apple may be a little easier, but you have to get a band with the proprietary connection. With Samsung you can use any standard watch band.
So it is subjective, but I would give the win to Samsung, or at least make it a tie.

The wristband win for apple is easily weighed up by the fact that the Samsung watch is compatible with universal wristbands. I could take and old watchband and use that on my Samsung watch. I would say that's worth more than slightly faster swapping

i got the Galaxy Watch 4 46mm Classic at launch to use with my S21 Ultra and now using the Series 7 45mm with iphone due to work commitments. Tbh, the 46mm was amazing. i often got double takes and people complimenting. Notifications was better and the rotating bezel was a game-changer. The Series 7 is a great watch but tbh if the Watch 4 worked well on the iphone, i would prefer that. Google Assistant and Google Pay was just better. Also the unlimited watchfaces was a major win.

One thing that people forget is that the Galaxy watch is a lot more repairable than the Apple watch. It is user battery swappable which is a huge win and a fact that in the classic model, which is still cheaper than the Base apple watch there is a stainless steel crown that protects the screen and provides much-needed durability to the watches. I think I have seen a lot of broken apple watch to see that as a huge benefit.

Straps changing is easyer on Apple Watch, ok, but dont forget that you can use literally every single strap from normal watch on Samsung watch. Kudos here from my side :)

Btw on galaxy watch you can write with hand writing, you don't need keyboard, and I prefer the ones with rotating bezle. Great video as always.

I have both and noticed that the apple watch is much more expensive. Also, I had the previous galaxy watch and traded it in for the new one. The trade in value was good and Samsung even added an extra $100 dollars in credit making the total purchase a fraction of the price compared to the apple watch.

Now that Google Assistant rolled out to the Galaxy Watch 4, you can take off 1 point of Apple Watch 7 and give it to the Galaxy Watch 4. Google Assistant is 1000 times better than Siri. This alone brings it to a draw. If you compare prices then Galaxy wins too.

I'm a Samsung guy but Kudos to Apple for using hand gestures to scroll or navigate through the phone.

You forget about some features that Samsung watch have

1. heart ECG monitor
2. Blood pressure monitor (yes, you heard me right! SGW4 has a built-in BP monitor)
3. Generic watch band pins, so you can get any watch band you like on SGW4
4. Price is lower almost half the price
5. Can work with any phone all you need is wearable app on the device
6. Google assistant is now on SGW4 as for may 2022

I wanted so badly for my Apple Watch series 7 to since with my Android phone!!!! Ended up selling it and now am waiting for the Galaxy watch 5 to come out! I can only HOPE that they integrate the same gesture navigation features as those available on the series 7!

No mention of blood oxygen, ECG, noise detection or heart rate sensors on the apple watch and comparable features on Samsung. These are arguably the most interesting features!

A nice comparison for the casual user but Hayl needs to go a little deeper with her reviews.
