RBI's Rs 50,000-cr funding boost to ramp up Covid-related healthcare infrastructure

With the country battling a Covid surge, the RBI has decided to ramp up healthcare infrastructure by opening an on-tap liquidity window of Rs 50,000 crore with up to three-year tenor at repo rate till 31 March 2022. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said the RBI will continue to monitor the emerging Covid-19 situation and will deploy all resources and instruments at its command, especially for the citizens, business entities, and institutions beleaguered by the second wave.

As if the money belongs to these people. Out of 50, 000 crores, 90% would reach the medical institutions only. No wonder how much people donate, there is no guarantee that it would reach the needy. CIRCUS!!!

There can be done many things our gov. Like China build hospital in few days by converging full work forces weather private or gov. More beds need to prepared and same can be apply to upgrade vaccination production. #ConvergeWorkforcetomedical

Why RBI fund,
What about PM care fund & PM relief funds & all the reliefs coming from nearly 40 countries.
Few years back we had so much money, we could give 15 lakhs to all each Indian.
In six years we became such a bhikari that we have to take bhik from other countries. Specially MUSLIM Countries, on whom we spread lies & hate all over.

Welcome step. Need more beds but the problem of logistical bottlenecks which is choking Delhi required a more firm hand. Maybe, the Center should takeover administration of Delhi for some time.
