This is a tool assisted speedrun of City Escape Mission 1, completed with an in-game time of 0:58.29.
Played on Dolphin version 3.0-735 using the NTSC-U version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

This was quite a process. After finishing the Hero Story TAS, THC98 and I wanted to do City Escape with upgrades, just to see how low we could really get it with all of our new-found knowledge on optimizing bounces and rails. Both of us became pretty busy with school and real-life stuff around the time we started (mid-February-ish) and we've just very slowly been making progress every few days since then. I'm really glad this is finally done, and I'm really, really glad we subbed 1 minute. Things like that are pretty meaningless milestones when it comes to TAS, since we're just trying to get the best time possible. But hey, it's pretty cool.

Also shouts out to me for having made/co-authored every single Hero Story Mission 1 TAS record!!
