I was okay with Peter losing his powers. But I wasn't okay with him never regaining them.

When he got to the point where he had one power, he should have taken time travel, then travelled back in time and took the power to have all powers from himself before his dad took his powers.

I was upset by this scene, as even when Peter got powers again they weren't the same, as he could only hold onto one at a time...for some reason

Imagine if he actually mimicked his Dads power theft and pulled the Reverse-Uno card and stole everything back once Arthur stole his powers

This is where Heroes lost its charm in my opinion. If things HAD to change regarding Peter’s powers, he should have absorbed his father’s ability, so even if he lost everything else, he soon discovered he had Arthur’s power, but due to Peter being able to connect to others, the power swiftly changed: Peter now possessed a weaker version of Arthur’s ability, yet UNLIKE Arthur, if Peter absorbs someone else’s power, they do not lose it, and neither does he, and Peter’s version of absorption is like ability replication in that the person doesn’t feel anything when their power is taken.

That would have been much better.

Peter represented the average person who wanted to truly do something different and good for society while discovering their true purpose. As he started to find out more about himself and accumulated powers along the way, I rooted for Peter, especially how with all that power, he wasn’t turning dark and abusing it. When the writers did this, they gutted one of the most relatable and likable characters. It was awful and didn’t help the storyline that so many faithfully followed.

Peter and Sylar were always a perfect balance, and I wanted to see that grand duel between them. But only one got to remain OP to the very end..

I just realized the show could've fixed their mistake. Before Arthur died, if Peter replicated Empathic Mimicry from him, he would get all his powers back.

I didn't like how Arthur took Peter's powers and when he got powers again they weren't the same .He was more powerful than Sylar before that happened and the show went downhill from there

This was the death of heroes as a series, and we didn't even know it at the time. RIP, it was a good run.
