I'ma say this now before I watch I've done this before in beamng it either breaks one of the axles and goes one direction or does an awd burnout in some rare cases it just blows up the engine I did this with a few covet mods

You should have gotten up to 100kmh in 2wd and then engaged the front diff to see what happened.

Well, you didn't really flipped the axle, you flip one diff. And yes, a symetrical diff housing allows the diff to be placed flipped lol

Happened at my school a few years back, some students removed and replaced a diff on a truck as a assignment, they accidentally flipped it, it fitted tho. When was the time to move the truck, it didnt wanted to move when releasing the clutch pedal. They then lift up the truck and put it in a low gear. It was hilarious seeing both rear axles spinning in a different way like in this video

Seems like the game might be simulating a belt for the transfer case, because it definitely seems to be slipping in front. If it were running a chain in the transfer case, it would just snap trying to do this.

Seeing the vehicle tilt over when in reverse is interesting though, shows no simulation is perfect I suppose.
