In high school I was always told to sacrifice my body on the field I’ve had 1 concussion and a dislocated shoulder..Once I quit I received the worst backlash from teammates and coaches so I could only imagine what the NFL players go thru

We’ve seen this recently, Andrew Luck locked up his guaranteed money and retired in his PRIME. The NFL suppress the voice of ex NFL players about their health because they damn well know the long term effects from playing years in the NFL and to them that means less money from star studded players like Calvin and Luck.

That’s why I push younger children these days to play basketball,
1. Way more money that you get paid in the NBA
2. A potentially longer and prosperous career
3. No serious health concerns within the sport

These massive sizes players are running in fields, gaining momentum, and striking each other over and over with there bodies for 4 quarters in a game, this is by far the most dangerous contact sport I've ever seen. Those are gladiators in a arena and we don't get to see what type of damage has been done to there bodies because it's so groosum.
