In this episode my guest is Harvey Mansfield William Kenan Professor of Government at Harvard University where he has taught since 1962. Professor Mansfield is the author of many books on political philosophy as well as a translator of works by Machiavelli and Tocqueville. He was a recipient of the US National Humanities Medal in 2004.
