I love how Castlevania is bringing this beautiful song to a wider audience.

I love how restrained the vibrato is. It makes such a clearer and piercing sound, like the scream of a betrayed lover. This restraint makes this my preferred interpretation.

Haven’t stopped singing since I CASTLEVANIA NOCTURNE episode 4. Absolutely love this song.

This performance is awesome. Even better than other versions I've heard from women singers. Props to all the musicians in the video.

I morn for the souls that can sit with this song in a dark, quiet, hidden space and still not get their eyes to water 😢

Castlevania Nocturne introduced me to this beautiful aria

This countertenor is extraordinary. Such a dulcet tone, clear as a bell! Why have I never heard of him before?

Castlevania showing some classical music is genious. More people should be educated to it, it’s a powerful language and a huge flow of emotions.

Usually, I listen to pop music, but this hits my emotions differently. I love it.

Flawless performance of this technically challenging piece.
I'm forever amazed at the sophistication of the four hundred-year-old music of Claudio Monteverdi and Felice Sances.

Interesting. Never heard the nymph sung by a sopranist before. Haunting timbre.

I woke up out of my sleep when I heard this playing in a movie, had to find the baroque. Woke up the next morning looked at the sunrise and played this. Cried heavily

This is what I’m talking about. I love culture. You never know what’s out there and when you experience it, it’s beyond simple words.

I love this version the most. Out of every other singer, this group is THE BEST!. Heard this song on Castlevania: Nocturne and fell in love. Besides the Castlevania version, this is my favorite to listen to. Absolutely beautiful❤

This version of the 'Lamento' sang by a man is better than some other ones I heard on YouTube sang by a female soprano.

Been listening to this rendition for probably over a year now (listened to others as well) and it is still my absolute favourite. It feels more...spoken and FELT than sung in an over-the-top way. It feels like I can hear the heartbreak. Lots of love to all of you, thanks for the great work!!
