Viborg, Viipuri, Vyborg. This weekend I went to Vyborg, a city in Leningrad region, located not far away from the border with Finland (Suomi). It is a medieval city which used to belong to Sweden, Finland, and now it's one of the Russian cities.

LOVED…LOVED…LOVED….this wonderful historic tour♥️♥️♥️. Greatly appreciated everything you were able to share about & show of Vyborg . I can totally understand your frustration with the bikers planted smack dab in the middle of that very historic place. Nice cat but nothing & no one is happy “tied up”. I ‘m thrilled to see the restoration and the oldest residence in Russia ♥️. The clock tower is so beautiful……I thought it was all beautiful!

Thank you Ksenia for a nice video from the city of Viborg and I can understand your irritation over the bikers and the decay of such historical place and buildings. It's sad! The same man who is said to have founded Viborg Torgils Knutsson also built a fortress called Landskrone where St Petersburg is located today by the river Neva. I live in the other Landskrona in Sweden so I found this part of the history interesting. In St Petersburg you have the famous art museum of Eremitaget. To see the cat in Viborg made me remember that cats are guarding the art treasures in the Eremitaget from rodents too. It's just a fun fact and I do love cats! History could teach us so much, and often repeat itself but we people tend to forget and not learn a lot from past mistakes, that's so very sad Ksenia and the world could be a better place for us all! I love old towns, we have nothing that old here in Central Washington State (US), I love the alleys of our towns, the fronts are all pretty and the backs of the buildings have way more character. Great tour of Vyborg, nice to see back alleys of Vyborg! Best to keep quiet about things...
