Started vid, liked, but I’m stopping. I’ll watch this while I eat before bed tonight. Finally got a day off so getting good and drunk(at home-safe). This was the first MRE I ever had and I have been hooked ever since. I do agree it is one of the absolute best menus I hope they take notes on this and make more new ones like this. Awesome Review Nathan!

20g of suger is like 5 teaspoons I'd say suger is your sweetener in that lemon lime drink mix this is a great menu nice review

I am an older Vet who served before and during the transition to the MRE. The C-rats were not perfect but I liked them a lot better then when we switched to the then new MRE's. Back then the MRE's were more like dehydrated LRRPs. We had no way to heat them and rehydrating certain food items was near impossible. The dehydrated pork patties were real teeth breakers. I've tried some of the newer MRE's and still don't like them. I think a huge mistake in U.S rations is missing the psychological boost more civilian style packaging and products can give while in the field. Many vets and I am sure active duty still today pack in as much of their own food into the field as possible.
That is one area I think the French rations excel at. While their taste is good its still largely canned food. The packaging though I think is special. I tried a 24 hour Polish ration and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I've tried the British and German 24 hour rations also and consider them more along the lines of U.S rations. Edible but nothing special. The Russian ration I tried I wouldn't feed to my dogs. It sucked horribly.
I enjoy watching your reviews and others but sometimes have to question your tastebuds!

Bill's Brew is a halfway decent coffee, but the main in this one is pretty good
