Merry Christmas! It's time for my favorite Christmas song ever: a great cover by Pentatonix of O Holy Night! Beautiful arrangement of a beautiful song. And as always, we look at: Does it relate to scripture? What does it look like through a biblical lens? Let's break it down.

You lost me when you said Mitch’s outfit is weird and you were so bothered by it you had to move the video to a different image so you wouldn’t have to look at it. Mitch has a unique style, always has. I think he looks and sounds amazing.

Mitch’s outfit is not much different than a karate outfit. The beauty of the gifts of song God gave these 5 people and the message of the song is what the focus should be. It’s about Jesus not clothing.

Fun facts: PENTATONIX has an award winning stylist named Candace Lambert and she is always on top of the newest styles.
She brings different outfits for them to choose from they all have specific styles they like and this is what Mitch chose. 😊
Also, It seems to me that you are so used to the traditional songs and what PTX does is modernize these classics that Ive heard all my life.
There are many singers that karaoke the songs to the tee. This why PENTATONIX is AMAZING, because they can upgrade a classic.
They just breath new life into old songs.

The judgement part is pretty true. As ive watched your first reaction and you judged that they were even Christians to begin with. These people have beautiful souls all the people standing by them its not just because of there beautiful voices its because they are kind and do not bad mouth anyone. Thats why i don't go to church myself bad preaching judgemental pastors

O Holy Night was written by an atheist Placide Cappeau and the music composed by a Jew Adolph Adams. All five of Pentatonix are devout Christians. You may not agree that they are all Christians. God almighty does know. It is not our job to judge but to love. Mitch looks terrific. He has a very unique personality. Such little things distract you. Why? All of us Pentatonix fans, and there are millions, love how different Mitch dresses. Their concerts are full with 10 to 14 thousand fans in attendance all over the world.

I didn't watch this reaction. I stopped at 1:51. I watch these type videos for the joy of seeing someone else appreciate the songs and talent of the artists that I enjoy. I don't watch for political/religious judgments on the artist's personal life or style. That is a whole different type of video and I don't think this is the forum for that type of commentary. To me both Mitch's robe/outfit and Kirstin's robe/dress harken back to the robes commonly worn in the Middle-East at the time (though more stylized).

Mitch is wearing a white version of a smoking jacket. White is not the normal color but they are traditionally worn instead of a tuxedo and with a tie. Mitch has dropped the tie and shirt in this combo. He is using matching trousers though.

Whether it is fair or not aa pastor you have a greater impact both good and bad on viewers. Sadly, you have disappointed me both times I have tried to watch your channel. Your judgemental attitude could have chased away someone who was searching for warmth and acceptance, self worth, from a man of the cloth. 😢

Imagine a pastor being judgemental about someone’s clothing. “Who cares” literally no one but you and surprise the judgement was focused on one of the gay group members. This is the second time I have tried one of your reactions only to be disappointed again.

Wow you are hyper critical.
As a professional musician myself, it was VERY difficult to watch you through the entire video. None of your criticisms were constructive.
Everyone has the right to feel a song however they see fit and I don't blame you for not liking the arrangement, but you nitpick your critique to the extent that your compliments came off as insincere.
You should have just said that the arrangement wasn't your cup of tea and left it at that.

I usually love your take on music videos but like others I was thrown by your judgement of what Mitch was wearing. He is young, and wears things you may not like but it is the music we are listening to that is important. I am with one of the other commenters, close your eyes and enjoy the sound and lyrics.

So im not deeply religious although i did go to church and even a Catholic school however you may need this reminder
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Before you say you didn't judge you found it weird. Someone went on to tell you that they found your earrings weird and i believe you told them that was silly. You may want to go through your comments.

I don't hold much hope that you can learn and change...but if you do ever react to PTX again perhaps you should react their video version of "Imagine".
And pay attention to what the cards they are holding say.

So there is a commenter below who advises this reactor/pastor to listen to Home Free instead because they are the 'premier' acapella group.. Well if they are so 'premier', where are their Grammys? Or better yet, where are their Grammy NOMINATIONS? Also, where is their hard-earned STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for being so 'PREMIER'? Why is Pentatonix the accapella group chosen to be on all of the high-profile Talk Shows this time of year, and all of the high-profile Morning News shows as well if Home Free is so 'premier'? Why does Home Free's touring schedule cover less than half of the globe than what Pentatonix's does if they are so premier? We Pentaholics understand the envy of others. We probably would be envious as well if we were consistently on the other side of the fence. But we too occasionally listen to several of the other acapella groups as well. We're not intimidated by them AT ALL because Pentatonix does not have anything else to prove. We've already won it all - several times. Another thing regarding this 'Pastor' is that he probably has the homophobic thing going on. You know that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes down to criticizng outfits that are fully appropriate and covering the body.
