Melissa McCarthy was a better Sean Spicer than Sean Spicer.

As someone who has lived in Plainfield for about 18 years, I can assure you it's as boring as they make it sound lol half the stuff they mentioned was in Naperville, which is a whole different town

Can we just appreciate that she's wearing an "I Love NY" shirt while she's extolling another town

I'm guessing the 'Weed Ladies' have their fair share of disappointed customers.

I love how the video goes to crap when they start the Community Calendar segment. Just like a real cable access show. That's dedication to detail.

Oh wow, I grew up near Naperville, and my dad actually still lives there. I've been to Civil War Days loads of times, it's actually really cool and bigger in terms of scale than you probably think. They also have a stand that sells homemade root beer (possibly the carcinogenic kind) that's worth the price of admission all on its own

The Community Calendar bits for Melissa and Nick Offerman (Minooka) represent towns only a few miles apart. Only need Shorewood to join the two and make it a continuous path west down Caton Farm Road then south down County Line Road.

It’s fun seeing places I’ve been on this show—I was just driving past Plainfield’s town hall a few weeks ago, and I worked at both the Minooka and Channahon libraries mentioned in the Minooka calendar.

The "old tv" filter they used on the segment feels like depression

I’ve been living in Plainfield my whole life and the ribbon-cutting part of the video was so funny- yea our town is a bit boring but it’s a really cozy town

God I needed this! Illinois ROCKS! Anyone else out there go to Chatham Elementary? Ball Jr High? I miss my large Catholic Irish family and all the food and swims in the pond. I lived on 9th St (just a few blocks from Lincoln's cabin), and grew up on a farm out of New City. Corn fields a plenty! Stay cool Illinois! Love "Community Calendar"!

As a 42 year old goth, I want to go to that Victorian lecture

This bit reminded me of when Steven Colbert came to my home town and took over the local access TV station. Loved it!!!

I can't believe they managed to book Sean Spicer to do a community calendar!

I'm more of a 'wine sit' kinda guy. Not that I have anything against walking. It's just a safety thing.
