The amount of effort this guy puts into his youtube work betrays social media's bias towards generic unoriginal content, especially in the photography and videography/cinematography space. This is why creativity is dying, you don't get rewarded for it anywhere near as much as you used to - to nearly all people, safety and fitting in is more important than taking a risk and standing out. I've been subbed to this channel for a very long time and, compared to his peers, it 'should' be in the millions of subs. But if you're not generic, you'll be divisive, and less people will be interested. Glad his hunger and desire for his own flavor of expression has driven him to nearly half a million subs but it was slowwww going

8:32 The solution is to obviously put a second 98" tv in the kitchen.

This is the type of video I watch YouTube for. Ingenuity, creativity, and down right entertainment. Bravo…And I’m not just talking about the tv. 😂

With making spectacular videos, why does this guy not have more than a million subscribers?

I actually mounted an 85” tv in my studio on a custom rotating bracket to have it vertical for portraits. I use it as my full screen monitor for CaptureOne! Anyone under 6’ tall is displayed at (or larger than) life sized. Clients love it because they can see the nuances of the poses and we can finely tune every aspect of the image.

I’m currently workin on ways to use it as a virtual backdrop to shoot against but I’m having reflection issues. Either way it’s been a super fun project!

Super cool to see someone else using a big ass tv for a unique purpose!

This might be the wildest video I've ever seen on YouTube! And I mean that in the best way possible!

You wouldnt need to add more counter weight on the other side. Just pull on the ratchet strap more on the TV side. I work in an industrial environment and we do massive lifts with loads that are not even all the time and we just use large chain falls to level off the load and also to "change the center of gravity" so we can slide it into tight areas. You could get away with a really small come along or even ratchet strap since you can access the handle. You just want to put a dead man on which in my case is a sling that is a little bit longer so if the chain fall fails the load doesnt fall down and kill us. I'd personally do that on both sides since you could take a lot of the load off the orbiter. Just have the orbiter spinning the load. As a side note if you even want to see something really cool contact Mammoet. You'd most likely need to travel but if you wanna see some of the most impressive transport and lifts they are the guys that are typically hired to do them around the world. Just as one example check out a video called "Heartland Petrochemical Complex - Splitter Move" and "Heartland Petrochemical Complex - Splitter Lift". I love to nerd out on the Mammoet youtube page as well

20:50 CPL can work if the light that is making the reflection is polarized itself. So if you have a light source that is making a reflection - you have to place a polarizing filter in front of it and than the CPL on the camera lens will remove it completely.

Regarding the reflections have you tried polarizing the light source also? That way you can selectively cut off certain reflections.
