Introducing the SwiftUI Menu App Series!

This series continues from where the War Card game left off and prepares you for the next step in your iOS journey and beyond.

Don’t be fooled by the simple scrollable list. This is something that you could learn from tons of tutorials out there but we’re going to take it a step further.

Not only will you learn the skills needed to build this app, we’re going to modify the code afterwards to mimic that of a more complex app.

I just finished the Menu App on the website. Whereas the War Card Game was very introductory, the menu items use concepts that are a few steps more advanced. Toward the end, the concept of how everything can be turned into a structure, and even the pages themselves, felt a bit meta. I've taken an introductory python course before, yet even then, this project introduced a lot of concepts. I hope Chris has some other projects at a more moderate difficulty to bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate.

Great stuff for newbies 2023. I like seeing start to the end building an app when it comes to Xcode and SwiftUI. I just wish it was standard as HTML, CSS. I stop because I started with story boards and it was fun because I'm also a designer, and then every year the updates F-Up your apps 🤦‍♂ I'm not interested just building a login page, I want to build a whole app and with no starter files. I want it to be from start to it ready for the App Store. Step by step is what is

Hi Chris I am one of the paid member of your website a few years ago. I am interested in the menu app, but after I login and click "start course", it just redirect me back to the home page. I tried all the browser still the same. Is it actually free? or "free" as a marketing scam?

Every time I click start course it just refreshes the dashboard page. I tried on 3 different browsers, all did the same thing.
