HUGH DILLON INTERVIEW: The star sits down to talk MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN season 2, which premiered this week. Dillon was the frontman for the amazing alt-rock band Headstones before becoming an actor, and eventually became a writer and producer, which has all lead to working with Taylor Sheridan and creating Mayor of Kingstown, based on the Canadian city he grew up in.

#MayorofKingstown follows the story of the McLusky family - power brokers tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.
Dillon has become an integral part of the Taylor Sheridan television universe, having had a reoccurring role in Yellowstone before co creating MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN with Sheridan, and costarring as Det. Ian Ferguson. Dillon discusses how he's known Sheridan for years, long before either of them made it in the television business, when Sheridan was Dillon's acting coach. The two then worked together on Sheridan's film WIND RIVER.
#HughDillon in Mayor of Kingstown plays Ian Ferguson, a senior narcotic, robbery and homicide detective for the Kingstown Police Department. As a result of living and working in Kingstown, he's become a seasoned, hard-nosed detective for the Kingstown Police Department and in the first season was the partner of McLusky's youngest son, Kyle.
During the #Interview, Dillon talks about working with television deity Taylor Sheridan, filming in his hometown, and the move to Pittsburgh for season 2, as well as his early days in Kingston, Ontario and his friendship with The Tragically Hip's frontman, Gord Downie.
