It's been more than 6 years and this thing runs like a charm.
I camp solo at high altitude and below freezing temperatures and never once i faced any problems.
I use gasoline as fuel.

Been using me msr dragonfly for over 20 years. Buy once cry once when it comes to quality gear. All you need is spit on the fuel line to attach the fuel ⛽ bottle. My msr Simmerlite is super light for a white gas stove and works like a charm. Fits perfectly in the msr alpine pot set for winter camping 🔥🏕️❄️🇨🇦

I have one of those for 10 years now. What an absolute beast.. Serve parts is hard to find in my country and new stoves are super expensive

Mine is around ten years old and runs like new. Its seen four season use and fires up/runs like a dream. Very easy to maintain.

I bought a Coleman duel fuel stove. Camping fuel and gasoline.. very hard to get used to burning with GASOLINE (boom) but in a pinch I might not have a choice. Not cheap $79 on Amazon. Glad I have it. Thanks for video showing another type of multi-fuel stove.

I used one for 9 months in tent. Served me well. I got a new one recently and all I see are jetboils everywhere and out pops my MSR Dragonfly

MSR multi-fuel stoves are great quality. Had one for years, used it with different fuels and works good with all.
They do get carbon build up when burning unlike gas stoves, and are a LOT louder.
On a cold frosty morning camping morning they get the coffee made without the slightest issue.

With the coffee press this video is a TWO FOR ONE SPECIAL ! Noticed today that camping fuel in a metal gallon can is $14.18... was $9.95 ! I've found it lasts for DECADES ! GOOD STUFF.. THANKS !

MSR makes great backpacking stoves, I have one of their Whisperlite multi-fuel stoves that I use unleaded gas

Try an Oring on the pump body and on the the fuel cap they seal better than a flat ring. The one on my Sigg bottle and MSR stove were both changed out after I bought them new in the early ‘70s.

I just received my first dragonfly. Sadly it must have been a Friday evening unit. Jet was installed cross threaded allowing fuel to spray sideways, when I discovered the jet, I attempted to unscrew it, and all the threads came out with it.

Awaiting exchange.

How do you pack this in to your backpack.
Do you put stove in a plastic bag in your pot, or do you put stove in the outer pocket?
With the fuel bottle do you put in main compartment of backpack or in the outer pocket, and do you leave on or take off the pump?

You can get other burner caps that drop the decibel rating a lot, look for dragontamer, berniedawg silent tamer or quiet stove.

I was excited to see this video, since multi-fuel stoves are generally magnificent. That hose is definitely too short, and it seems really fidgety to put together when wearing gloves/mittens in truly cold weather.
I think these type of products need a proper field video.

If you put the flame out and then flip your bottle around it will expel the air in the bottle without spilling or wasting fuel.

Why do MSR make both the Drafonfly and Whisperlite of their both multi fuel stoves? They seem the same but the dragonfly has simmering ability

Have you ever need to replace the plastic pump because it somehow broken?

With all this covid stuff going on I've decided to add some stuff, just got this stove today. Mainly because of how many different fuels that I can use.
