How to RESET your Apple Account ID PASSWORD on your iPhone, iPad and Mac!

This video covers a variety of methods to reset the password of an Apple ID. If you are locked out, disabled or just forgot your password, I will show you how to reset your Apple ID password from an iPhone, Mac or iPad.

Resetting your Apple ID password can be a pain and especially if you get to the point of needing Apple Recovery. I will demo resetting your Apple ID password using your own devices, a device at an Apple Store, a random person’s iOS device and the Apple Support App.

Another key point is to make sure you have a Trusted Device associated to your Apple ID and the understanding of Two Factor Authentication.

Also if you have Stolen Device Protection turned on within your “Face ID & Passcode” settings, you may need to turn that off or understand how that impacts your ability to reset your Apple ID password.

Joel do you know of a way to re activate an account on apple ? Apple had deactivated an old account I had from my first MacBook back in 2009 . They deactivated it without my permission and refuse to activate it meaning I can’t see or hear any of the purchases I made at the time . Is this even allowed ?

So a few years ago, I made an email and I lost access to it and I’ve been trying to recover it for years so when I try to sign in and I can’t sign in because I don’t know the password I will send a code to my phone number enter the phone number Then I will send an email to the email and trying to recover but I don’t have access to but I contacted Apple support and they said in six days I’ll get a call with instructions to recover my Apple ID. Does this mean I’ve successfully recovered it

I don't have a iPhone or iPad but on my Roku media player I'm signed in on the Apple tv app, I just purchased an setup a apple tv 4k media player but it won't let me sign in to the apple app. When setting up the apple tv media player it would not let me use the same username or password that I use on the apple app on the Roku, which I also use on my Nvidia shield pro as well so I had to create a new account. My issue is that I bought the apple TV 4k to use the apple tv app, it won't let me sign in as new or let me add the existing account. What do I need to do to get it working and to make it all one account. Also, when I try to activate it, it tells me to update my payment info and when I put in the information and hit submit, it gets stuck. No matter how many times I do it I can't get past that hurdle. I want to like apple but this is not the only time I've had issues with them. I have apple music also and struggled getting started with that too.
