Central Pneumatic 10Gal Air Compressor

Central Pneumatic 10Gal Air Compressor Review. It comes with just the compressor no hoses or fittings. You can attach a second tank to it if you find that the 10gal tank is not enough. Also the oil that comes with it falls short of the fill line so make sure to have some compressor oil handy. A follow up video in a month or two after I have had time to use it.

*After years of hauling around a large, 💫 **allabout.wiki/PORTER** heavy, loud dewalt air compressor (that ironically was advertised as quiet, supposedly 78dB), I bought this. Facepalm. While it is not ‘silent’, I find myself chuckling every time I use it, sparing all my neighbors the terror of my former compressor. I use for inflating tires, impact wrench, finish nailers. Absolutely love it. And I store it under the garage sink in a 24” cabinet. I paired with a coil 1/2”, instead of a my former 50’ 5/8” hose that I had to lug across the yard from the shed, unpleasantly uncoil.... this little guy is light and portable; just a joy. Impact wrench is still capable of easing lug bolts, flywheel bolts, crank pulleys... just allow for a tiny bit of recovery now and then.*

these are every bit as good as the Husky brand that Home Depot sells. I really wanted this 10gal compressor but they were all out so I settled for the 8 gallon and it works pretty good

Good idea to run a small fan facing the motor to keep it cool, gives a longer life to motor.

Beats what I got... A hand pump.
You mentioned about cordless drills with a lot of tork. I got a cordless
drill from all places IKEA it cost $20 or so. This came along because my
mush more drill died. Not needing such a good one any more
I thought what the hell. Now this IKEA drill has been great I drilled
out the baffles on my Triumph mufflers(sounds great now) with no
problem and drilled though cement with ease.

I have same one. Change to high flow fittings. I love my compressor. Ive had a craftsman and campbell hausfeld and this is comparable but cheaper.

Hi
Thank for your intro it was so helpful!!!
I just got my air compressor broken in, its a CP 125 HP, gal. 8 gal. Directions are woefully unclear about how to use this thing. It took about 7 trips to both HF and an independent hardware to get proper fittings and even figure out where the oil drain was. A top employee with 6 yrs at HF told me the unit had no oil drain! Even tho the directions clearly state to drain after 1 hour. Staff at HF actually know nothing about how to use and work the tools they sell!!!
I am going to use to spray glazes on pots made of either stoneware or porcelain. They are fired first.
Questions: Once you run it up to pressure do you turn it off to do the work?
Or do you keep running the compressor. You had yours off when you tried out your drill.
I am a bit afraid of this thing. Never used one or seen one used.
I have a filter to take out oil and water from the hose and a pressure gauge installed on hose, before the actual spray gun part.
Is there anything I should be aware of or careful of when using this compressor? Thanks
Not sure how to find you again. my email could be included but since this is first time I have ever left a comment or question here do not know how this works. 3.28.17 Barb

How well did the compressor run your impact when working on those struts? Great review by the way

Is it a continuous compressor? I'm wanting to run it for a snowmaker, but I need at least 4.4 cfm to be coming out continuously.

it was at 125 psi until you hit the gun a couple times. that knocked it down to around 110 psi. you do understand that dont you?

...nope, that compressor does not have enough CFM's (cubic feet per minute) to run that impact wrench to its full potential;you need a compressor with at least 9 cfm's...people believe that if a compressor puts out 125 psi or more, regardless of cfm's, then it should run an impact wrench or any other tool with a high cfm rate.Try to match your tool cfm rate with your compressor;if your compressor cfm rate is LOWER than the tool you're trying to run, then the tool won't deliver its maximum performance and you will be frustrated blaming the tool when in fact is your compressor that is the culprit...HTH

Can you remove 10 lug nuts back to back? For example when rotating tires on one side of a vehicle.

Could you give us even a short update about this. I was thinking about buying one for tires and the occasional impact wrench job. Was wondering if it cut the mustard or if I should get something a bit larger. Any response would be greatly appreciated. If you have made a video response already, I somehow missed it in your channel line up.

I literally just saw it as one of the videos you just posted. Thanks a lot :D.

Would you recommend this air compressor for HVLP spray guns and some light sanding ? I'm restoring my boat and don't want to spend $800 on a bigger compressor

Can you stand it vertical for storage?

Nice review. Is it still holding up good? I’m thinking about this compressor for a plasma cutter.
