Responsive vs. Unresponsive Yoyo (What's the difference?)

In this video we talk about some of the best beginner yoyos 2022. Are you learning yoyo tricks with no experience? Great, this is a good place to start. I am Evan Nagao, the world yoyo champion, and I will show you the difference between responsive and unresponsive play. With unresponsive play, the you need to learn how to bind. I won't teach that in this video, but there are many tutorials online. Consider this a yoyo buyers guide of some sorts. If you're asking what is the best yoyo? I got you here too. Maybe you can learn to yoyo so you can do the DNA and go viral. lol.

Since I was about 5 years old (I'm 56 years old now, my mother has put a yoyo in my Christmas stocking every single year of my life, except for Christmas 2022 due to her passing away in May of last year. 😥Other than that, she never missed a single year. I always looked forward to getting a new yoyo. I truly wish I'd kept all of them over the years, but sometimes we simply don't know the value of things, even when they may have no apparent value, they sure can hold value in your heart. Unfortunately I only have the very last yoyo she gave me.

Wanted to buy a couple of yoyo's for some youngens and was surprised I was unable to find the ones I saw in the 80s/90s. The old yoyo's were smaller/narrower and could fit in any child's palm, these new age ones are so wide, not even an adult can fit it in their palm, surely. Bring back the old Coca Cola yoyo's!
