Yeah.. the actual original recording of this song from 1970 is "by far the best version" of the song, in my opinion. This is not the original recording, but it is definitely the 2nd best version I've ever heard because I really like the extra electric guitar work included in the song which really adds some rock opera to the rock opera

Hi there, I grew up with this version always singing along in the car on road trips, but the album is out of print now - any chance you could upload the full thing? All the other versions sound wrong to my ears because this is the one I know best!

This is dreadful! It cannot hold a candle to Mike d'Abo on the Original Cast recording.

great voice but too campy in parts ... Paul Ainsley & Mike D'Abo are the gold standard in my opinion.
