To anyone who buys this board, and any of the asus P67 Board. If your computer doesnt start up when you finish building it, Check that
1) your cpu cooler is correctly plugged in
2) your ram is pushed in all the way (the side without the clip doesnt always go all the way in)
3) reset the cmos by unplugging the power supply, then taking out the battery for 1 minute)
Hope this helps

@Andresngulo blue USB is also compatible with 2.0 and 3.0. And under ethernet connector, it's SATA 6.0 Gb/s

@zkumpew correct it will have the same performance as 16X, but make sure your power supply has enough power to have crossfire.

I have this mobo running my 2500k at 4.8 with a gtx 580 in a ft03b.

It's great for me and the 3 sata 3 ports are enough in a matx case.

@6476Mike raid card. sound card. PCIE solid state drives (which kick royal ass interms of speed). some TV tuners. high-bandwidth networking cards. I might be forgetting a couple different devices, but I think I made my point...OH, almost forgot, MORE GRAPHICS CARDS. cause of that little technology called crossfire or SLI

@x900lbGorillax makes perfect sense. Triple is for the enthusiast platform, double is mainstream. There is nothing wrong with double, its still very powerful and RAM just gets better and better. Remember the CPU architecture has alot to do with how the CPU uses the RAM. Since the new 2500/2600 series have some improvements, the memory badwidth is higher. Even better than X58's triple channel in some cases!

@ButaChicken, Well what I meant was. I know dual channel is plenty fast. I am using AM3 955BE with 8GB of DDR3 dual channel. But, I guess I just expected Intel to stick to going with triple channel technology ever since the X58 series boards came out. I just never expected them to refine their dual channel series boards. Instead keep moving up the ladder maybe refining x58 or something. You're right about that memory bandwidth they seem to even have lower latency as well. So that is nice!

Just returned from Microcenter and they had the Asus P8/P67 Pro on the shelves. It said "revised edition" on the box and the tech said the other manufacturers would be in the next few days.
