It's been a cool spring this year but July is going to be HOT and Dry so it's time to head to our off grid cabin in the woods and protect it from wildfires and lightening strikes!

Protecting your off grid cabin for fire season is an annual chore that must be done and while I'm at it I'll add some lightening and EMP protection.

Here are some of the tools I use on the mill, to seal logs and the camera's I use to film videos:

Spring toothed drag or an old drag behind cultivator would be great for knocking that green down to dirt.
I been taking some time off work. All work and no play will burn a guy out. Looks like you're spending more time at the cabin. Happy for that !!
Cheers !!

My next year projects, sprinkler and better fire break. I am going to use the fabric and cover in 1/2" crush, a 10ft patch of gravel around the trailer should be ok. all the areas that didn't get 6 inches of crush in 2023 grew right up like it was seeded. I cleared a patch 1 ft deep for the new array last month and already growth. Does your property seem greener than last year this time? Is that the new Xplore dish for 2024? If yes, is it any faster? Currently getting .23mb upload, worse than 1G.
