I first fell in love with K.D during the very early torch and twang days when I could still socialize. K.D. was the first musician who made me want to sing out loud, encouraged me to dance in public, and who made me a better public speaker. It is now 2021 and I owe K.D.

The first time i heard K D Lang sing she was on Johnny Carson. Litterly stopped dead in my tracks. Walked back into the living room and just stared at the tv. I was mesmerized by her voice.

Remember seeing KD perform in a little motel on the outskirts of Edmonton and got in touch with her manager ( Larry Wanagas) to have her perform during Klondike days at Westin Edmonton and she packed the place. Sony music guys came to see her there and the rest his history.
