shouldn't Y be a maxima for the distance XY to be lambda or P?

I checked that A level physics and high school physics in India are almost idential with all the topics taught but here in India a lot more application of calculus is needed to study physics course. Although your videos are helpful and i love to watch it sir do you have something to help me for my revision too

At 7:35, why does P = wavelength? Still don't quite understand

hi sir, why does youngs double slit only work when distance from slit to the screen is larger than distance between slits? D>>>a
i don't really get this bit

How is revision going? Here is a playlist of all my revision videos with more to come this term! Hopefully helpful.

Hi sir thank you for the great video it is really helping! I’m just a bit confused at around 10:18 -> Why is the distance between X and Y ‘x’ (fringe separation), when i thought x/fringe separation is the distance between a maxima and another maxima or a minima to another minima - not maxima (X) to minima (Y) if that makes sense. Also if x = the distance from maxima (X) to minima (Y) then surely that would equal 0.5 wavelengths, not 1 wavelength.

why is the distance XY = P, a wavelength. I thought a maxima and minima where 1/2 a wavelength apart

I’m sorry I still don’t understand why D must be significantly larger than a.

Why does swapping the speakers cause the maxima and minima to swap?

Hi sir, could you add this video to your playlist in Year 1 A Level Content: Waves please, thank you.

I’m understanding a lot better now but there are still parts of the proof that confuse me

For example, can you explain a bit more clearly why the triangles are similar? I get you’re saying they are similar due to SAS (side angle side), and I get that P=XY and they both have a 90 degrees angle, but which other side is the same length? I don’t understand th way you explain it in video Xcode

Hi sir was wondering what is ment when " the sources are swapped" when talking about Maxima turning into minima?

Can you make a video on how to prepare for paper 3?

Sir, why would (when speakers are swapped) then maxima and minima be swapped when the 2 speakers are identical and in phase ?
