If you want a clean strike go for the first two pins on the right side hit in between the first and second pin.

In practice play, fuck it anything goes. But in league you can't use a ball with extra unused holes. 2 finger bowling is fine 👍 just only have 2 holes in the ball

You don’t aim at the head pin. You aim at your mark. (you throw a right handed hook so the mark is probably the fifth or sixth board) Also, I never liked the no thumb style. Why is it so hard to spin with thumb in?

It has already been stated but I figured Id clear it up. In freeplay you can do as you please bit for tourney rules use must use every hole drill in the ball for it to be a legal shot. Some folk carry a 2 finger ball like my brother who loves the hook shot style. I borrow it from time to time to double hand shot as you d9nt need the thumb for grip since the 2nd over hand provides that for you. Yall double hand bowler amaze me some of yall throw some crazy back-side spin on a typically right side shot. Blows my mind. Have fun out there yall and may the strikes come your way.

just so you know, bowling a ball with no thumb in, but with a thumb hole is illegal, it gives you an advantage.

His approach is sloppy, he didn't angle his revs, he threw it as fast as possible, it was an illegal shot via USBC rules, and his weight transfer was horrendous. It was a lucky shot, don't take his advice.

should i be concerned if im left handed yet only got a half-strike and i switched to my right hand just as an experiment and got a double strike??
