Russian figure skaters may still be banned from competing, but that doesn't mean they're not giving us something to talk about. Asher Hill updates us on that, the Kamila Valieva investigation and on Alexandra Trusova leaving coach Eteri Tutberidze... again.

When USA invaded Iraq, Syria, Lybia, Afghan and now Haiti, none of USA athletes were banned from international competitions, why?

All kinds of reasons to not see the trees for the forest but Kamila Valieva is a little girl. That hasn't changed. Wish nothing but the best for her.

Strange to banned Russian Skaters from international competitions...
BUT...Seems to be OK for the rest of skaters from the Word To Skate using Russia's great classical Music! At least with the Junior Skaters! Doesn't Make Sense! 🤔

I think the American media treated Valieva horribly and should be ashamed for doing so. I agree that there should be no doping… but, I also think people shouldn’t bully a minor. The Russian women are the best in the world and should be allowed to skate in international competition.. they have no control over Putin’s actions and should not be punished for them.

I am sad and angry at the ISU for punishing Russian skaters for political reasons they have no control over.

It is not fair that the Russian athletes are banned because of the actions of one power hungry man. They have lived most of their lives inside a bubble... and focused on one thing... and it certainly wasn't politics. It doesn't seem right. I don't see how their being banned will change the outcome of that tragic war. I hope the IOC reconsiders this action. Written by an American.

When U.S. and European allies had a war at Middle East nobody suspended them from sport!

Вот сейчас идёт этап юниорского гран при России. Смотреть одно удовольствие! Смешно даже сравнивать с тем скучнейшим зрелищем, которое было представлено на Junior gran pri ISU.

I think eventually Russian athletes will be allowed to compete. Putin made a terrible and cruel decision to start a war, but I don't think that should affect the athletes. None of them have anything to do with the war, they're simply punished because of Putin.

Russian figure skating competed without flag and anthem for many years ! What is wrong with the European head of figure skating? If the Russians did not competed in so bad conditions, they would be in better standing today and more respect.

Definitely for the better that Russians are out. They simply should be out, all of them, until Russia leaves Ukraine (Crimea included) and begins the proces to abandon their cruel imperial dreams. Some of the skaters, the ones supporting Putin should be ban forever, like Sinitcyna with partner, Plushenko and his school, Tarasova&Morozov and sadly, Valieva. You just cannot support war and killing and then hope for participating in the peaceful competitions again.

I think Russia has treated Brittney Griner horribly.
