What Type of People Choose the Bankruptcy Option

Sometimes it can be the result of a bad decision or simply bad luck - co-signing for someone’s student loans, credit cards or car loans usually does not turn out well.

The biggest mistakes I see arise from desperate acts to fix an unfixable problem. Borrowing against a 401(k), taking out a second mortgage you can’t afford, or borrowing from friends and family are rarely good moves.
