Would not recommend doing this. When converting these videos to MP4 various problems pop up. Using another media player will have the video clip filled with bugs and visual glitches. Using VLC to open them will make it work fine at first, but going back and replaying messes up the videos again.

Inputting these converted videos in adobe premiere causes the clips to have audio desync and unusually high CPU usage when playing those clips. Online convertors work way better with little to no issues, only problem is that they have a memory limitation on how much you can convert at a time.

Try to convert a HEVC but in mkv, and the result the coverted file just plays sound but no video. any clues?

converting now if this works you are amazing. its so hard finding software capabale fo editing 8k 90FPS video meanwhile vlc play is with ease for me but no editor i had could handle it without me having ot pay a premium first.

Hi I've tried converting a video using VLC on my Mac air. It does work. However, during the conversion, my mac fan makes some noise. Some people say its just the fan doing its cooling. Is it safe to do this in the long run? Considering mac air has very small and limited processing power. Thanks
