Prayer is conversation, communication, and communion with God. Sometimes it involves speaking, sometimes listening, and sometimes just being silent and still before Him. But prayer is a gift that connects us to our Heavenly Father. And yet, most people would say that they don’t utilize this gift as often as they should. In today’s study, Pastor Gary takes us through the first chapter of Mark to examine the prayer life of Jesus—how He got up early before sunrise to pray despite the fact that the day and night before were extremely demanding. We can learn from His example and discipline our lives to “pray like Jesus”.

Pastor your so funny sometimes.! My whole life I have always made time for prayer. It is a discipline, one you'll get used to. I pray every morning and I pray every evening before bed, and all throughout the day. It's a real Joy when she get used to it having that personal time and relationship with Jesus Christ. I can identify, at night I have a problem praying, I try but the flesh is weak.

for me its not spending enough time in the word, i pray on my way to work every morning, but before i go to bed my words do not come together and I try several times and fall asleep.
