Is This Popular IKEA Bed Frame Right For You?

In this review, we will be taking a look at a popular bed frame from IKEA so you can see if it's right for you. This Malm bed comes with 4 drawers but you can also get the bed with 2 drawers or no drawers at all. After testing the drawers out, I noticed you get a lot of space to store pillows or extra duvet covers. The one thing that people may find odd with this bed frame is that the drawers don't come with any drawer sliders. The drawers move about on 4 wheels that roll relatively smoothly on carpet and hardwood floors. As for the middle section of this IKEA bed frame, it comes with the classic Luroy slatted bed base. Depending on where you live you can also buy the Lonset slatted bed base. Also when I was testing out this bed frame, I noticed the stability of the overall bed frame is pretty good. When I was testing out the stability of the headboard, I noticed that there was some movement in the back and forth direction. Overall, I didn't really notice any big issues with this bed frame.

I have this bed and have it assembled like you have it in the picture. I cannot lift the mattress to change the sheets without throwing out my back. So I can have it lifted to the first level of holes? 1:16

Hi your matress is one piece but the bodem are 2 seperate flates, do you feel the beam in the middle because of that?

I purchased TUFJORD bed from IKEA. The bed base slide keep falling down every time I get up. Have installed as per the instructions provided. Totally dissatisfied with this product. Would not recommend for anyone.

A piece of shit. Cheap but worthless. After a while it creaks, makes a sound when turning, even with a small movement. they complain about it on all the forums. 👎

I actually gave up trying to build this bed. It takes entirely too long to assemble and I gave up and walked everything to the trash. It would've been too much of a hassle to break it down and try to return it. Assembly will literally take your entire day....spoiler alert.
