It's important to remember that in this experiment, the ball does not move faster and faster, it simply covers less ground as it descends into the representation of the black hole.
If black holes work this way, it's not the speed of the object falling into it that "swallow" it, it's the level of friction. That much friction could jostle the molecules right out of something..
