Plane Slides off Runway at O’Hare in Chicago (KORD)

An American Airlines flight from Greensboro slid off the runway at O’Hare this morning. No injuries reported as they were bused from the aircraft to the terminal.

Temperatures are crashing in Chicago, so the wet snow is creating a layer of ice. It will be a few hours before crews can get the upper hand on runway conditions. Both MDW and ORD are cancelling flights left and right. Not a good travel day.

The one thing I don't understand is why would you go to Chicago of all places? that place is messed up BAD!
If your just gonna be just passing through there fly into south bend or Grand rapids.
