Zelda being number 1 makes absolute sense given her presence is constantly felt, how much agency she has in the past and the sacrifices she made to ensure Link succeeds. She just doesnt feel like the damasel most Zeldas end up being and im including Tetra

Look Riju’s age of 12 was in becoming a champion, which was the design book for BotW. Considering the time gap between the two games being around 6-7 years due to Maddison’s age, Riju is pretty much adult especially how with Hyrule the age of maturity is 17.
