As a BCBA & Supervisor, I get asked so many questions about Supervision Fieldwork Requirements. So I decided to reference my BCBA Handbook, combined with my lived experience and professional feedback, and create this video that has everything you need to get started with supervision.
1. First you have to find and start your qualifying behavior-analytic coursework

2. You can also start identifying your approved Supervisor

3. Sign a supervision contract and identify roles and responsibilities
4. Determine the amount of hours you want to complete each month (20 min -130max)
5. Direct hours cannot exceed 40% of your total hours
6. Document your hours

Almost finished with my bachelor's in Psych. Looking into BCBA grad schools. I'm a little concerned that we're supposed to have a job and get experience before BCBA graduation? Hi Dom, can you explain the 5 consecutive year part for supervision hours?

I already completed my ABA masters degree. Therefore, does this mean I have 5 years to complete my hours starting from the year I earned my masters ? Or am I able to start collecting hours anytime (3 years 8years from now ) and finish within 5 years from the time I started collecting ?
