King Penguins Leaving Exhibit - Cincinnati Zoo

The King Penguins leave their birdhouse exhibit to go to an outdoor display. They do this during the winter when it's cold enough for them to be outside.

The giant fuzzy black penguin is a 2 month old baby. As a response to infant mortality due to the extreme cold of their environment, king penguin chicks do nothing but eat regurgitated fish and grow as fast as possible for about a year before they get their adult feathers and can catch their own food.

Despite being such a big boy he's actually scared and confused by the stairs and honks for an adult to guide him, which the zookeeper obliges.
