The Entreprenurial character I'm doing for a chronicle set in 1955 is a British Huntress that is literally female Tony Stark aka she's rich, the daughter of a weapons/ammunition manufacturer, and is very intelligent and studious and knows how to craft weapons, ammo, and other hunting gadgets, as well as made her own homemade Kevlar Vest.

This is an interesting perspective on hunting monsters.
While hearing about I had to thought about the main characters in heist movies, who create a plan to take someone bigger out. Or funny enough the scooby doo gang, who has a systematic aproach and finishes the job with a creativ trap. Or hell, even the ghost busters! To get it a bit away from corporate entrepreuneurials.

Getting paid to hunt monsters sounds like a twist in waiting. A benefactor provides you with some base informations, money and occasionally weapons. You hunt a vampire, a ghost, finish it by shooting a bunch of werewolfs and in the end you get a check from who other than Pentex...

In the book that I am writing the Hunters that I have written would be considered Entrepreneurial, given that they hunt Monsters for money, but it's not a career choice. My Hunters are murderers, rapists, hitmen, gangsters, rogue mercenaries, and violent criminals who were all on death that were given a devil's bargain by a Private Military Corporation to have their freedom back, but are forced to serve this corporate entity for life. I use Ghost Busters mixed with Waylon Utani, mixed in with the Military Industrial Complex to craft a Private Military Corporation that recruits those that are desperate and venturing for cash. The strangest thing is as powerful as Private Military Corporations are in our world thanks to political corruption and bribery. The Corporations of the future in my book are as nasty as they are, but they are not the most powerful institutions. That belongs to a new Religion that is born into the far future performs actual miracles on live camera and literally has magical items in defeating the creatures of the dark, and the PMCs are working as middlemen between them and the states. Since this new Religion is more focused on their inquisitions and crusades with other religions, and consolidating their power hold on 80 percent of Humanity, they just outsource the monster hunting to PMCs unless the threat requires their attention. Think of the Catholic Church during the times of the Inquisition, and make it much worse if you can imagine it, and give them magical items that can grant actual miracles. That's the new religion that I have written about, they are so sinister that even the corporations would not dare go up against them, given the number of Human numbers they have, weapons, and actual magical powers they have at their disposal.
