www.MissTCI.org - Miss Turks and Caicos Universe 2004 Wenieka Ewing at Miss Universe 2005. While in Bangkok for the international competition, Ewing won Thailand's Ministry of Tourism and Sports Award during the national costume competition for best country depiction in costume.
Presented by Thailand's Minister of Tourism, Ewing also received a cash prize of US$1,000.00.
Wenieka's costume was handmade by Ms. Gwendolyn Green; hand painted by Dwight Outten and was designed and embellished by Ewing herself.
Miss Universe 2005, the 54th Miss Universe pageant, was held at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand on May 31, 2005.
