Danny, you can look up these issues online as much as you want. There's no harm in it. DO NOT let a dr. or anyone tell you not to google. DO NOT let them make you feel dumb or guilty for doing it. Knowledge is power. I've learned a lot searching on the web

I really enjoy your presentations, I wish I would hear from people post surgery.
Maybe you could get these people onto your site to give us an idea what it's
like a month, 5 months, a year after the operation.
Thanx.

That animation is so true! 2005 I woke up with severe back pain and couldn’t move but no leg pain. Eased up few months and then the leg pain started. I don’t know how or why doctor checked me for MS and the MRI stopped at L1. 2006 it got worse and my family doctor took too long to send me to another MRI. I got fed up and found a spine specialist in the yellow pages lol. Got the MRI there showing L4-5 central HNP and L5-S1 left lateral HNP. After my fusion later on my NS said I had permanent nerve damage and scar tissue on the nerve roots, and he recommended a pain pump. Later I got SCS for multi level stenosis that made it hard to walk around. Luv your channel 😊❤️👍

I am 68 years old and having sciatic pain down my right leg. The other vertebrae in the lower lumbar feel loose and every motion I can feel them popping to better align. I have had a MRI and range of motion x-rays on the affected area. My neurologist surgeon wants to fuse one of my vertebrae. I have a an old buldging or herniated disc on one side of the impacted area, I think L4, and there are signs of spinal stenosis in the same area and as if that isn't enough for one area of the spine, I also have this new cyst that my neurologist says is the root cause for my pain. When discussing the fusion with my surgeon I asked "doesn't fusing the vertebrae just cause other issues in the future with the non fused ends of the vertebrae and the answer I got was a flat "no". I feel like I am being rushed through all of this. I also have been having an urination urgency condition which allows me about 10 seconds to get to a toilet, which I originally connected with a surgery I had a few years ago that left me unable to ejaculate externally. My neurologist claims it has nothing to do with my back issue. This leaves me even more uncomfortable with the diagnosis since the surgeon didn't even look at anything when I told him about it. He just responded that it wasn't related. From the sounds of it, a urinary issue with sciatica issue could be a deadly circumstance. I would like a 2nd opinion with you. How do I get your opinion? I have copies of my MRI and x-rays that I can send. Please advise. Thank you for your videos on this topic. They have been very helpful.

Hello Dr. when you say after 2 yrs. no surgery case is similar to miscrodisctomy. Can you please elaborate that? I have seen patients suffering from sciatica pain on and off even after 2 years. Does that mean surgery can also cause recurrence after 2 yrs

I had low back pain 5 months ago when i lifted the patient during my shift after that i got a mild dull type pain in lower back for which i didn’t take any medicine, it was bearable but it was consistent then a month ago i took some NSAID with Muscle relaxant it relieved the pain then one day i got a very shooting pain in my left leg behind the knee, i straight went for the MRI and there was a mild protrusion in central of l5 and s1 so i took physio sessions and avoid bending and lifting it’s been second month sir but now i have no pain sir but i have some type of feelings in back of the thigh in left leg which can’t be expressed and it comes only when i stand for about 30 to 40 minutes continuesly, what is that sir? can it be consider as sciatica or not?and how long it will take for me to be recovered? i am not taking any medicine right now i am just doing exercises for core muscles strength..
