NEW CHEAPEST AUTOMATIC Melon and Pumpkin Farm (NO OBSERVERS OR STICKY PISTONS) Tutorial (1.16.1)

On episode 2 of Minecraft Gadgets: A new design I've made that chains block updates through a piston line to make the cheapest automatic melon and pumpkin farm I have seen! Great to build early game before you have gone to the nether or found a slime chunk.

It still works very well in 1.19 damn. No missfires or stuck pumpkins/melons, even the item pumpkins always drop at the edge, a highly reliable build for it's price.

Compact farms like these are handy to use, I can integrate them to my underground base without excess work. Literally just replaced where i had a manual farm without needing to add much space. Thanks for this!

A good alternative for the boat if you are in a version where it breaks is a mine cart just put a rail on the sand push it near the pressure plate and break the rail and you should be good 👍

for a weird reason in 1.19.1 only the side under the stone grows and the other doesnt

it still works but the boat is very inconsistant maybe if we put osme sort of entity in the boat maybe it will become consistant? (didnt try yet)

This "quasi-activation" is a redstone concept I don't quite get. But this farm is a good use of it.
