EASY Automatic Melon + Pumpkin Farm in Minecraft 1.21 (Tutorial)

In this video, I show how to build an Automatic Melon and Pumpkin Farm in Minecraft 1.21! (Tutorial)
This Melon + Pumpkin Farm is very easy to build and super efficient! It will give you lots of Melons and Pumpkins!
The list of materials required to build this farm is easy to obtain and is shown at the beginning of the video.
This Farm works on Java edition in version 1.21 and below. I did not test it on the Bedrock edition.

You really only need 1 observer. At 3:09, don't break the roof. Instead, cover it with redstone all apart from the central block. Place a solid block on top of the central block, and an observer above that, and a daylight sensor on top of the observer. Make sure the arrow on the observer's texture is pointing down from the daylight sensor to the block next to all the redstone. It will fire several times each day, slightly reducing the rates but making the farm much more resource friendly.

You can also hook this redstone signal up to a powered rail on top of the item collection hopper, to make the hopper minecart operate on the same clock.

Worked for a good while on bedrock, but recently the minecart just randomly stops? I have to dig from under to destroy the minecart and bring it back to the starting point. Wonder if anyone has had the same issue.

for some reason the pumpkin cant grow to a pumpkin, it rather just stays as the plant form

If the farm you built is struggling to get both melons and pumpkins, turn the dirt blocks into a mud block for better efficiency of the farm.

Just replace the button with a lever and this might not be a waste farm, cause the observer/piston gonna brake them at any time even when your card is not on it's way, letting a lot despawn

You may want to replace those dirt blocks with mud blocks cuz I think when 1.21 comes out, those Hoppers won't work the same way is it used to anymore. The reason why I recommend mud blocks is because it's not a full block. It's like a half a block, like it's slab. Make it like that, or think of an alternative way to make this farm

I've built it on 1.19.4 Java. It works, although a bit slow, it adds up while you are doing other things around.
