Love the way you deliver buckets of wisdom w/o sounding like you're preaching although, I would definitely go to the Church of Angela! Another piece of advice from the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, "The secret to a good marriage is to be a little deaf but never blind."

I agree on these relationship tips and #2 OMG! is me all the way!!!! I raised my kids mostly alone as my first marriage ended when they were infant/toddler.s, it was rough doing it all, all of the time. I married again almost 7 years ago and since I got married, I have not seen Jiffy Lube or even the gas station and I politely sit in the passenger seat as my husband loves to do the driving. I think back on all of the years of schlepping my kids to every sport they could think of and Im grateful for my husband wanting to drive. I was extremely independant when he met me but I thank God, I was wise enough to let him be the Man in my life.

Right on as always. An elderly woman said to me once Be The Woman. Independant and marriage don't seat at the same table. Yes! seat. It take me some time to understand. 34 years of marriage. This month. I was young. still learning. Be patient. Embrace his Akwardness. Dialogue😁

Amen! You got that right. Once the kids are gone, it's you and him, wondering what the kids are doing. Have your husband's back no matter what. He is going to take care of you.

Outside of my parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that are happily married I only take relationship advice from people online that are also happily married and give logical relationship advice. Thank you for this!

Well said, I'm in 100% agreement. I too was well independent before meeting my husband, now after so many years I realized I didn't need to do it all, I could share my life, my wants and my needs with someone whom enjoy being a part of share'ment.

I absolutely love how you and your husband are in sync. Sometimes you say something and look to him to be sure you are using the right words and are saying it accurately and he swoops in. You two are absolutely a dynamic duo. Love it 😍.

If I could I would have jumped thru the screen and give you a hi- five !!! When I realized these things I was already married to my wonderful husband and when I tell you that our marriage was changed . I pray that everyone who watches this video will listen with an open heart and mind.

Excellent advice for your audience. It’s something that we each had to learn. I’m going to be 60 in May, and this is my 2nd marriage. During the time between my marriages, I learned more about myself and my non-negotiables and how to be a “wife.” I continue to grow and develop the #US mentality because, as you stated, at the end of the day, you want to be able to enjoy your spouse and the companionship you both bring to one another.

Excellent content! Would you be willing to do a 2nd video with your husband on relationships, dating and marriage advice? Just wanting to get a man's point of view as well. I hope that you will consider my request. Thank you

Very good points. I agree with them all. Especially #5! Compatability is so key. I love to say chemistry. When 2 people have chemistry it truly helps. It puts them in sync and allows them to work through issues successfully and just enjoy being around the other.

Compatability and just liking and respecting the person--- I agree 1000%. At this stage in my life (56 yrs and fly!) I 'm not pressed about love so much!
