Another flaw in your testing might be the age of the nerf guns compared to the age on x shot

You’re using a nerf Raider from 2009, a Maverick from 2005, and a Reflex from 2008 that you’ve used for a long time and worn out the springs vs brand new x-shot guns that came out recently and have all the new technology, plus the springs aren’t worn out.

As someone from the nerf hobby (yes it’s a thing, we even have a subreddit) who ALSO use blasters from both nerf and Xshot, i can easily say that alot of the Xshot blasters (also going by the Adventure Force brand name through Walmart) are superior to the nerf counter parts, BUT this video was also a bit of an unfair comparison as some older, weaker, and out dated blasters were used against the xshot conterparts (such as the raider, which should have been opted out over it’s more modernized predecessor, the rampage, to be a bit more fair). Also, the darts can have a very significant effect on preformence as well. Sorry for the quite long winded comment, but other than the criticism above, this was a rather well conducted test for simple comparison and a great way to spread the word about other wonderful brands!

Why would you use old Nstrike Nerf blasters to compare against brand new Xshot blasters? The Maverick and Raider are both ancient, you should have at least used their newer Elite counterparts the Strongarm and the Rampage. I will admit that Xshot is a great budget option and they are competitive with Nerf in performance but the range comparison was not really fair. Just my two cents.

I'd like to say something.. the first spring blaster vs was NOT an efficient one. You're comparing a Raider, which is a very old Nerf blaster with probably a weakened spring over time with a modern X-Shot blaster which has a newer, more tight spring.. Same for your Maverick vs Swarm Seeker. Should've taken a Nerf Disruptor for the comparison.. Also, what the heck are you doing comparing the Reflex (a reverse plunger mechanism which is old) with a powerful direct plunger X-Shot blaster.. Should've compared something like the Firestrike for that.. This seems biased.. Just putting my views out. thanks

Do they have anything related to the Nerf Rival line though? I personally hate the "normal" Nerf guns that fire the darts, but I really like the Rival line as an alternative to Airsoft that you can play indoors.
The Rival guns are built for adult sized hands, they're extremely sturdy, the ammo is compact, and while they shoot hard enough to feel and call a hit, they don't shoot hard enough to crack windows and monitors like Airsoft guns. They're really good for snowy days when you're having a LAN party with your buds and you don't feel like freezing your balls off outside.
